With the stunning Hogmanay celebrations heralding a brand new year and the start of Homecoming Scotland 2009, the world's leading Festival city is gearing up for spring, and more of it's exciting Festivals, including the Edinburgh International Science Festival and the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival. August is a key month for the summer Festivals and it’s never too early to start planning a visit and book your travel and accommodation. Remember that Edinburgh Military Tattoo tickets are now on sale, and another key date for your diary is March 25th, when the Edinburgh International Festival programme will launch. Edinburgh is the Festival City. It’s where people come together to share their passion for arts, culture and ideas.
